Seeding Systems

Stocks Micro Meter offers a low cost addition to all our rigid frame cultivators. A single hopper unit is all that is needed for a 3 metre machine and for wider models an add-on hopper gives 6 additional outlets.

  

For folding models the Stocks Turbo Jet is required and is available with either 8 or 10 outlets.

  

All Stocks applicators are now available with the RDS based Wizard control unit that combines ease of calibration with highly accurate variable rate metering.

Winter and Spring Beans

With the addition of a front mounted hopper, it is possible to sow beans direct into stubble with the Profilab. The advantage over using a straight leg cultivator is that the bean seed is placed between the left and right curving legs and not directly into the grove made by the cultivator point, making it much less prone to water logging if heavy rain follows sowing. As with Oil Seed Rape the well structured finish left by the Profilab should allow the following crop to established very economically, with direct drilling a possibility.
