Techmagri Soil Looseners all feature the Marcel Michel curved tine. It has marked a giant leap forward in European tine technology. The main benefit is in the way the soil is lifted through the whole profile with movement in a complete arc from vertical through to horizontal. All this is achieved with less effort than is required by the more common vertical tine and wing design. Which only tends to move the soil in a vertical direction and can create potentially damaging lateral smearing if used in moist conditions.
There are 2 model ranges:
The Profilab which is designed to work to a maximum depth of 25cm (10”) and is ideal for farmers who are looking to replace ploughing as well as those who feel that shallow min-till is not creating enough surface drainage.
The Techmaprofil has a working range from 25cm (10”) down to 45cm (18”) and is a highly efficient subsoiler/pan buster.
Both machines also feature the Discotwin packer, with its 2 rows of 5mm thick discs that are designed to not only cut clods, but also re-consolidate the soil.
Both the Profilab and Techmaprofil have proved themselves to be a highly effective method of establishing Oil Seed Rape. Depending on model type, all machines can be delivered with a factory fitted Stocks Micro Meter or Turbo Jet applicator.
